The YTA is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to continuing and improving the quality of yoga teaching.

“I can't begin to tell you the wealth of information I’ve received from attending YTA workshops. I've been exposed to so many different forms of Yoga, different approaches and different philosophies and love it all!"
—Susan B., workshop participant

Welcome

The Yoga Teachers Association (YTA) is a not-for-profit, educational organization dedicated to continuing, improving, and deepening the quality of yoga teaching in the Hudson Valley. The YTA offers ongoing workshops led by nationally recognized yoga teachers, as well as highly accomplished local area instructors. The YTA was created by a small group of pioneering yoga teachers in 1979 who saw the need for affordable and continuing education. YOU are invited to join us!

Ongoing Learning

In the interest of deepening and enhancing the knowledge and teaching of yoga, the YTA offers monthly workshops from September through June. Workshops usually take place on the second Saturday of the month, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. ET, and are currently offered in-person at Club Fit in Briarcliff Manor, NY, via Zoom, or in a hybrid model (in-person with Zoom feed).

Workshops are open to members and nonmembers; prices are discounted for YTA members and Club Fit members.  For most workshops, a recording will be made available to all registrants for a minimum of two weeks following the workshop.

Most workshops are eligible for Yoga Alliance and other organizations' continuing education requirements. We try to note in workshop details when an instructor is a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider (YACEP); please contact the instructor, YA, or other certifying organizations with any questions about a workshop's eligibility. YTA does not supply CEU certification.
