Join Betsy Ceva of Shamani Yoga in playful exploration of the body in motion and discover how movement can become meditation. The heart of this workshop focuses on merging movement, breath, intention, and meditation to invite a tranquil mind.

In this workshop, we will experience a flowing gentle yoga practice that includes simple but potent breathing exercises; emphasizes seamless, fluent transitions and discernment of what is helpful, not harmful; and is interspersed with sustained moments of pause to fully feel “what is, right now.” We will explore the power of mantra, full body mudras, meditative walking patterns, and repetitive movement patterns layered with breath. Betsy will show us how to create Moving Mantras using words, imagery, and movement to chant with the entire body.

Come to this class with an open heart and curious mind and move into that sacred, joy-filled place of oneness, the quiet space in between what was and what will be.

Recommended props: 2 blocks, yoga strap, and 1 or 2 yoga blankets for asana practice, discussion, and seated meditation

NOTE: Club Fit has limited props and no blankets, so please bring your own if you have them.

Please be aware that we cannot control the temperature of the studio at Club Fit, and it can run cold. So please dress appropriately in layers and bring a blanket, hat, socks, etc. if you are sensitive to the cold. Thank you for your understanding.

This workshop will be held in-person only; there will be no live Zoom feed or recording.
